She was born in Istanbul, 1941.

She graduated from Istanbul Girls High School in 1959, İstanbul University Faculty of Science Zoology-Geology major in 1963. Worked in İstanbul Medical Faculty Parasitology between 1963 and 1966. Did her specialty in Biochemistry at Şişli Etfal Hospital between 1966-1973. In 1970, she started working in Süleymaniye Maternity Hospital as Biochemistry Specialist. She started working at Osmanoğlu Hospital after retirement in 1989 and still continue her duties.
