Born in Izmir in 1966, he completed his primary education at Izmir Atatürk High School in Germany. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. His first assignment was as an emergency room physician at Urla State Hospital, followed by one year of anesthesia and two years of public health training. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Izmir Bozyaka Social Security Institution (SSK) Hospital. He has worked as an ophthalmologist in various regions of the country. He currently works full-time at Private Osmanoğlu Hospital in Istanbul. In addition to practicing medicine, he paints and participates in art fairs and exhibitions with his work.
