Graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1977. Completed Istanbul Medical Faculty Internal Medicine Specialty in 1981 and Istanbul Medical Faculty Cardiology Specialty in 1993.

Became an Assistant Professor in 1993.

Did his military duty in Cyprus Turkish Peace Corps between 1981-1983. Filled Deputy Clinic Chief position at SSK Istanbul Training Hospital between 1985-1991 and 1993-1995. Worked as a Cardiologist at Özel Alman Hospital between 1995-1997. He is working in our hospital as a Cardiologist since 1997.

He has also been working as a lecturer at Haliç University Faculty of Medicine since 2002.
