We all happily witnessed the intensity of emotion my father, who was then an 87-year-old young man, experienced and that he encountered another surprise on each page of the book he was holding. By the way, there were dear friends who had writings but were not alive when the book was published…

I recently got hold of this book and rummaged through it. In fact, the emotions expressed in writing both find their place and become permanent. I am very happy that we were able to give such a gift to my father when he was alive. Those who contributed to its preparation are very valuable to me.

I'm Dad's Little Daughter

Yes, I am my father's little daughter. But there were many people around me that my father supported, educated, raised, made a business, married and loved. And these people loved and respected my father like a father. Yes, I am my father's little daughter, but my father had many other children whom he loved and took care of like his daughters and sons.

In his speeches as he got older, my father often stated that he loved his grandchildren very much and that even grandchildren's love surpassed that of children. In fact, his love for his daughters and grandchildren, who are a part of his son-in-law, is a summary of how fond he is of his entire family.

I am happy and proud to be the little daughter of Dr Salih Osmanoğlu, a very hardworking, unique, very special and very beautiful person, whose heart beats with kindness, honesty and human love, and who has established a throne in the hearts of many by extending a helping hand to everyone.

I love you so much and you are my father.

Six years have passed, turning the pages of the book and reading what is written can be upsetting for my father.

We can sometimes be passive in expressing our love and feelings, especially towards our elders. From time to time, we forget how precious the time spent together is… But sometimes, a book, a movie or an article we read is enough to remind us of the value of their existence.

Now I'm going to kiss the cheeks of my father and mother, who have packed great friends and memories into their almost a century old life.
