What is Prp?
It is the process of separating the blood taken from the patient into its components with a special centrifugation process and injecting the platelef-rich part into the necessary tissues, suitable for the purpose.
What is a platelet?
Cells that play a role in the blood clotting mechanism. It also contains growth factors that are effective in the healing period of the wound. When tissue damage occurs, platelets come into contact with the damaged endothelium. Clusters begin on the damaged tissue, and the coagulation mechanism is activated. Thus, wound healing begins. 70% of the growth factors stored in the platelets are released immediately and 95% within an hour. With the help of growth factors, PRP is also used in dermatology to increase skin tension and tone, and to revitalize the skin. Relieves acne and scars, removes wrinkles, Strengthens hair follicles on the scalp, prevents shedding and strengthens existing ones. It is also used as a support for joints and tendon muscle healing.
